JACKSON HOUSE

An Edwardian semi in Finchley North London.

I redesigned the kitchen/ dining/ sitting room, hallway, cloakroom and front lounge. I had a lot of fun designing the schemes for this property. The majority of the downstairs we kept neutral, in the kitchen I added elements to jazz it up like textured green wallpaper on the back wall by the garden to bring the nature from outside in. Wow elements like the stunning Soho home chandelier. I designed a new space for the family in a breakfast bar nook with cupboards to store all the toys and books and and additional new bar for the grownups. A super fun Andrew Martin neon 90's piece of art that lights up. I went dark and moody in the front lounge, keeping this room completely separate from the other spaces. Textured wallpaper and dark blue walls with bright pops of colour and added textures in the rug, boucle chairs and mirrored wall lights. The hallway I decided to keep calm and inviting, keeping the old Victorian lack and white floor and incorporating the black with the stair runner and handrail.

RAVEN HOUSE

This house was a labour of love, a project I am extremely proud to have been part of. Working with an incredible architect who made every space interesting and have it's own purpose, we have so much fun bringing these zones to life. The main back room of the house consists of a kitchen, sunken living room, dining room and coffee corner. Great thought was put into creating zones for the spaces so they had their own feeling but also flowed together. The house is for a family of 5, who are forever entertaining and having guests round. This house has a home for everything, coat cupboards, shoe drawers, utility room, playroom so whenever is mess is made it can just as quickly be tidied away.

When it came to master bedroom it simply has to be a sanctuary, a free standing bath in the bedroom in the bay window, dressing room and ensuite, not forgetting the textured and stunning printed wallpaper which transports you to a the land of milk and honey, a paradise scene, the perfect backdrop for harmony and tranquillity.

Colour was a must for these clients, bringing warmth and inspiration from their favourite places; Africa, India and Mexico. We spent a long time choosing the right paint colours and finally got to the desired palette.

SEYMOUR HOUSE

Creating a living and dining space for this family of 5, plus dog was wonderful. The clients had some strong pieces to work with such as the curved neutral sofa, the wooden floor and the dining table and chairs. They wanted to keep the room free flowing and lucking they are blessed with lots of light flooding in from the front and the back. The room is sophisticated with tactile herringbone wallpaper, marble and leather coffee and side tables. textured arm chairs and cushions which ass depth and a colour palette into the room which is then all tied together with the Roche Bobois Sun Arctic rug. The art chosen by the client adds a touch of fun and more colour along with the beautiful foliage which brings the space quite literally to life.
